Andrew Jackson and voting

Here is the history of voting rights in the United States.
How do you think changes in these voting rights has affected the course of history in the United States?

We just discussed one concerning the elimination of property ownership as a requirement to vote.
How did that affect the election of 1828?

We'll look at this topic more through the year as more people will be allowed to vote, but let's see what you can come up with for now.

hey coach,
1)The changes in these voting rights affected the course of history in the United States because if more and more people were not allowed to vote progressively then our nation would of never grown, we would probably still have slaves, and we would have probably never gotten into as many wars.
2) Since the property requirement was eliminated before the election of 1828, it allowed more people to have an opinion and actually have a real competition between the competitors.
see ya soon,
